      Issue

Currently, the CHANGED operator only supports specific fields as explained in this documentation:

The operator can be used only with the following fields: Assignee, Fix Version, Priority, Reporter, Resolution, and Status.

Any other field such as the Issue type is not supported, and when trying to use the operator in a JQL query, the following error will be thrown:

      issuetype was Inquiry

      It returns an error:

History searches do not support the 'issuetype' field.

      Suggestion

Add more supported fields to the CHANGED operator.

This will be very helpful for auditing and reporting. Hopefully Jira implements this soon as it's been a requested feature for a couple of years now!

Being able to use "WAS" for issuetype searches would be helpful in my Jira Dashboard reporting. This would be powerful if integrated into JQL rather than having to search, issue by issue, thru the History data. Thanks!
