The Version Picker custom fields do not transfer the version between projects

Example I have ISSUE A and two Projects Let's say Y&Z

Y has the following versions

6.3
6.4
6.5

Z has
6.3
6.4
6.5

When moving ISSUE A from Y to Z the version isn't automatically transferred. This is because it is project level and thus while having the same name are still two separate versions. The ideal situation would be to default to the same version and confirm if this is correct with the user.
