Atlassian Stack license is removed upon activation of another license for any Jira application

Summary

Whenever a license that is not of type Atlassian stack is being applied to a Jira product, the Atlassian stack licenses for the other Jira products is removed.

Expected Behavior

It should be possible to use a standalone license for any of the Jira applications when a higher user tier than Stack provides is necessary.

Actual Behavior

The Atlassian Stack license is removed from Jira if any of the applications are activated using a standalone license.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Setup a Jira installation using an Atlassian Stack license;
2. In Administration > Applications > Versions and licenses, update the license of Jira Service Desk to an evaluation one;
3. Refresh the page;
4. Note that the Stack license that activated Jira Core and Jira Software is removed;

Workaround

There is no known workaround that allows for the Stack license to be used together with a non-Stack license
