Show priority name next to Icon

      It would be nice if the name could be shown rather than having to hover over the icon, especially in the column view. This would make it easier for users to quickly recognize the status of issues.

            +1 , agree with previous comments. The name is necessary for quick glance and icons can be confusing, Jira default icons definitely are confusing for new users. 

            This needs to be resolved - I know other tools can more than easily display the name of the priority, all other tools I have used in particular.

            +1, why would this Jira not being fixed after 5 years. Having a priority name next to icon will definitely help more for users.

            +1 you need to get the mouse on top to see the actual value. Priority name is better.

            It is difficult for business users to get know these icons since they are not frequent users, Also same problem with the issue type. it also shows up as an icon.
