Add the possibility of removing the password field on user invitations when instance is configured with delegated authentication

    • 1
    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Summary

Even if the instance is configured with delegated authentication to LDAP, when inviting users to sign up to Jira, they receive an email to set Full Name, Username and Password, even if the password will be set automatically by the LDAP directory later on.

      Workaround

There is no workaround currently as it's not possible to customise anything on the invite on the latest Jira Server versions. Its not even possible to add a customised message with instructions.
