Summary
When performing the clone operation on a parent task that has subtasks associated with it, the cloned parent task will be created before the cloned subtasks. Deleting the cloned parent task before the entire cloning process is completed will result in the cloned subtasks that are created afterwards to have no parent task.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a parent issue (TEST-1) with a lot of subtasks (500+ in my own tests).
- Proceed to clone the issue along with its subtasks by checking the "Clone Subtasks" checkbox in the clone issue dialog.
- While the cloning is still being done, delete the Cloned parent issue.
Expected Results
Either one of the following behaviors:
- The cloning operation is completed
- The deletion is blocked until the cloning is completed.
- All cloned subtasks of the cloned parent task will be deleted.
- A warning dialog will pop out to warn the user
Actual Results
The cloning still continues and thus the cloned subtasks are being created without a parent issue.
