      JIRA embeds Log4j 1.2.x that has a bug which can prevent the logs to rotate properly on a Windows Server due to intensive logging activity.

      Expected results

      JIRA handles the log rotation no matter the amount of DEBUGs that are enabled.

      Actual results

      If there are too many DEBUGs or exceptions generating logs, the application fails to rotate the logs and can generate big files in the JIRA-HOME directory.
