Field update is not captured in issue history if it is set to an equal value through a screen and a post function

      Summary

      If a field is set to the same value in both a transition screen and a workflow post function, the change will not show up in the issue's history.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Configure an "Update issue field" post function to set the "Resolution" field to "Done"
      2. Configure the transition that resolves the issue to have a screen including the "Resolution" field;
      3. Execute the above transition in a field, and set the "Resolution" field to "Done" on the screen;

      Expected Results

      Issue history captures the change to the field.

      Actual Results

      Issue history ignores the change, even though the actual field is updated to match the value set in the post function.
       

      Note

      Workaround

      Either remove the field from the transition screen or the post function from the workflow transition.
