Provide New look Of Atlassian Product For Server Hosting As Well

      Hi everyone,

      Thanks for your feedback on this issue.

      Since Jira 7.10 we have been releasing incremental updates to Jira Server interface - starting with the new color palette, typography, icons, and refreshed look for key issue navigation screens.

      We’re very excited that we will ship a refreshed look for boards and backlog with Jira 8.0 soon, and even more updates to user experience with Jira 8.x in coming months. Please find an enclosed comparison of boards and backlog in Jira 7.9 and 8.0.

      As for bringing the whole Cloud look to Server - some details continue to differ from the changes you’ve seen in Cloud products. For example, we’re not currently working on bringing the new (left) navigation to Jira Server.

      Team’s goal is to give our Server and Data Center customers a smooth upgrade path with continuous improvements, so their custom plugins continue to work and they aren’t forced to retrain their users.
