On instances with postgreSQL and large user base you may encounter performance issues regarding excessive memory usage.
Environment
- postgreSQL database,
- large user base - 500k users and more
Workaround
Increasing JVM heap size by 1GB per 1 million users should give enough breathing room to overcome symptoms of this issue.
