    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Priority: Low
    • None
    • Affects Version/s: 7.2.9, 7.3.8
    • Component/s: Dashboard & Gadgets
    • 7.02

    • Severity 2 - Major

      Step to reproduce the issue:

      1. Install Confluence and JIRA, create the application link by using OAuth with Impersonation.
      2. Config the "Assigned to me" gadget on Confluence and create a page with the gadget.

      Expected behavior

When configuring the gadget, it should show the same as the gadget on JIRA without authentication request.

      Actual behaviour

When configuring the gadget, the "Login & Approve" window popup which requires an authentication against JIRA before we can continue the configuration.

      Business impact

Since the trusted app is deprecated since Application link 5.2 and the actual Oauth system require one token per gadget per user, the user has to go through all gadget to generate the token to grant the access. This is having a huge user experience impact with the instance having 1k+ users as the feedback shared in the ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-45189
