Rollback User Directory Modifications if Connection is Lost During Sync

Summary

If for some reason JIRA loses connection with the LDAP Server during a directory synchronisation, depending on the stage, the users lose their memberships.

So it would be good for JIRA Administrators if JIRA rollback if the process fails in the middle and return to the previous state.

This is not an easy scenario to reproduce as you will need to cut the connection with the LDAP server in a very specific step of the sync.

Expected results

JIRA continues to work without any problems.

Actual results

The failed sync can leave JIRA in an unusable state if all users lose membership.
