Summary

Editing a field that contains a table with a closed issue reference will add additional dashes around the issue reference for each edit.

Environment

• JIRA 7.3.4/7.3.5
• Safari

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add a table with the visual editor to a wiki rendered field
2. Add an issue reference to the table (like JRASERVER-1)
3. Save the field
4. Edit the field again, change a character (inside or outside the table, doesn't matter)
5. Save the field

Expected Results

The issue reference stays the same

Each edit add a dash on either side of the issue reference as seen in this screencast:

Workaround

Edit the field with the Text tab
