      It would be very nice to be able to set the status of an issue per version. E.g. when we have an issue in three versions of our product (2 production versions and a development version) we might want the fix the issue immediately in the production versions and later in the development version. However, you have to set an issues state to fixed to get it into the release notes of a specific version.

      Another example is when you reopen an issue in a version that has already been released. In that case you have to add a new 'fix for' version. The status for the old 'fix for' should still be closed and a status of open should be in place for the new (extra) 'fix for'.
