      IE 11 Rich Text Editor Focus Skip Back To First Line After Attaching Screenshot

      Summary

      If we add a screenshot to a comment after some text typing in Internet Explorer 11, the focus point of the type skips back to the first line instead of next line or end line of the attached screenshot.

      Environment

      • JIRA Verion 7.3.0
      • JIRA Version 7.3.3
      • Internet Explorer

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add a comment to an issue
      2. In the comment type

      Expected Results

      The focus point goes to next line or the last line after an image is added.

      Actual Results

      After inserting an Image (Ctrl + V) with IE11 in Jira 7.3 the focus skips back to the first line. Do take a look at attached video for clarification

      Notes

      Google chrome and firefox are not affected by this behavior and it is working fine in both of this browser. Do take a look at attached video

      Workaround

      1. Manually adjust the focus point in internet explorer
      2. Use another browser such as google chrome or firefox
