Problem
Editing the Assignee field triggers both issue assigned and issue updated events rather than only the issue assigned event.
Steps to Reproduce
- Remove the users on the issue assigned event on the notification scheme, leaving the issue updated event.
- Edit the Assignee field
- Flush the mail queue
- Wait for the notification event on your mailbox
Expected Behaviour
No email is sent, as issue assigned is not configured in the notification scheme
Actual Behaviour
Issue updated event is sent for the change
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
