Summary
Project sidebar "Version" option is missing from Business projects, even if version has been added
Environment
JIRA Core 7.2.2 (Customer's environment)
JIRA Core 7.3.6 (Support verified latest version also affected)
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Business type project.
- Navigate to Project Settings > Versions > Add some new versions.
- Verify the Project Sidebar.
Expected Results
Version option should be available after added some versions to the project.
Actual Results
Version option is missing, it does not get created, although issues can still "see" and use the versions created.
Notes
Support tested on JIRA 7.1.x and able to see Version option on the project sidebar after adding some versions. This seems to be affecting JIRA Core 7.2.x only (7.3.6 more recently).
And also, 7.2 and 7.3 documentation also mention the Version option should be available.

Workaround
As administrator: navigate to Versions via Project Settings instead of the sidebar.
