Problem
The 'Save' button in the form to enter a comment has a keyboard shortcut for submitting the form, which on Mac+Chrome is Ctrl+Alt+s. With the new Visual mode editor for comments, the keyboard shortcut does nothing.
Note: I have not tested this against other OS/browser combinations.
Update: We have verified that the issue also occurs in Windows+Google Chrome 62 (the shortcut there is Alt+s)
Steps to reproduce
- Create/view an issue, press the Comment button
- Enter a comment and use the keyboard shortcut to submit the form while having the Visual tab selected.
Expected
A comment is added as a result of step one and another comment is added as a result of step 2.
Actual
Only using the Comment button works. The shortcut does not seem to work at all (neither Alt+e for Internal comment nor Alt+s for regular comment in SD projects)
Work around
Any of these should work:
- Switch to Text mode in the form (in SD Projects this does not fix the Alt+e command, only the Alt+s)
- Manually submit the form with the mouse
- Ctrl/Command + Enter (in SD projects this makes the comment Internal).
