      Summary

      Accessing JIRA from Internet Explorer 11 will cause the browser to execute JAVA.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Install Java Development Kit in Windows (client side)
      2. Access JIRA from Internet Explorer

      Environment

      JIRA 7.2, Windows, Internet Explorer 11

      Expected Results

      JIRA should not be requesting to run JAVA from Internet Explorer

      Actual Results

      Following pop-up will be shown:

      JIRA should not be needing JAVA anymore since the attachment applet is based on HTML.

      For customers with older version fo JAVA, there'll be an error message saying JAVA is blocked.

      Workaround

      Disable drag-n-drop plug-in plugin from Manage add-on page
