In JIRA, the Average Time in Status gadget only report on issues closed in the past 24 hours. This is a suggestion to allow the time of the gadget to be extended.

For example, instead of 24 hours, we could use days/weeks, so we would be able to retrieve more content for the report.

Hi. The Time in Status app has recently released gadgets for Jira Data Center Dashboards. There you can configure the Average Time report according to your needs. I hope you find this useful.

We have a project that may have 1 or less tasks completed in a given day as the task involves a long workflow that may take months as it passes between different groups. I would like to be able to see the time in status across a full project or filter by specifying a date range that is longer than 24 hours - a range defined by me. By checking the average time in status on a monthly or quarterly basis we can see if our overall process is improving or declining. There is some rich data that is currently hidden by the lack of flexibility in reporting.
