            I have that issue on our on premise setup with 7.2.6 as well.

            Is there any plan when this will go to the server releases?

            @kkercz   What about the server versions of Jira? Is the fix also implemented in the future releases too?

            This has been fixed and will be soon deployed to all Cloud instances.

            "mrz" is now recognized as date input. Note however that it is being transformed by JIRA into "Mär", which is a standard abbreviation for March in German.

            Same here - contacted support, they have applied a work around and I have changed all Javascript Datetime-Picker Formats to dd.mm.yyyy. This will help.

            the change in the advanced settings worked for me with: "/" as seperators not "." in the javascript entries.  (JIRA Cloud) Just if anyone is struggling with that

            jira.date.picker.javascript.format=%d/%m/%y
            jira.date.time.picker.javascript.format=%d/%m/%y %H:%M

            Due to this issue we can't close or open sprints in march as the system always overwrites the format into Mrz which doesn't work.

            The issue does more and more affect our users every day, please fix this soon.

            JIRA Server 7.3.1 also affected.
            Please take into consideration that every single user who is using JIRA in the German language is affected by this!!!
