Summary

After upgrading to JIRA 7, users are unable to set comment restriction to specific Project Role aside from Administrator.

Environment

JIRA 7.1.9, JIRA 7.0.0

Expected Results

User able to set comment restriction to any Project Role specified in Project Role of the Project where the issue belongs to.

Actual Results

User only able to add restriction to Administrator project role.

Workaround

Workaround 1:

Enable Groups & Project Roles in Comment visibility from JIRA's General Configuration. Now user can configure specific groups and restrict the comment to the specific group.

Workaround 2:

Add a JIRA-Administrator to the each of the other Project Roles. Refresh the comment page and the additonal Project Role will appear in comment page.
