NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Problem Definition
Currently, users can login into JIRA using the same username concurrently from different browser/machine. For some organization, this could be flagged as a security breach since we are allowing could be 2 different users at the same time. One of the examples is a JIRA user might have an idea that he is hacked if when he logs in and there is a warning message saying that he is already logged into JIRA.
Suggested Solution
Have a feature where JIRA Administrator can choose to allow/block concurrent user sessions.
