Description
Summary
When a user created a Text Field (single line) custom field with long numbers such as "2016290700000780" and export the field to Excel via the Issue Navigator , user will be able to view the exponential value "2.01629E+15" in the Excel document but they will retrieve the actual decimal value input for that field incorrectly. For example, instead of "2016290700000786" it would be shown as "2016290700000780"
Environment
Tested with
Jira Server 6.4.5
Jira Server 7.1.4
Jira Server 7.1.8
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Text Field (single line) custom field (for eg: Manual Incident Number).
- Create a issue and add that custom field into that ticket.Enter "2016290700000786" as value of the custom field
- Search for that issue in Issue Navigator , make sure you add that column and export all the fields to Excel
- You can view the exponential value is displayed correctly : "2.01629E+15" , but when you click on it or view at the top it display incorrect actual decimal number which showing "2016290700000780" instead of "2016290700000786"
Expected Results
The decimal value for each exponential value should be equal to what has been input in the Text Field (single line) custom field.
Actual Results
The decimal value for each exponential value is not equal to what has been input in the Text Field (single line) custom field.
