Description
Summary
New JIRA 7.1.8 installation or upgrading to JIRA 7.1.8 makes Instance Health Plugin to be incompatible with the current JIRA version.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install new fresh JIRA 7.1.8 instance.
- Navigate to Manage add-ons page.
- Search for "Instance Health Plugin" with the filter set to "All add-ons" - you can see that the plugin is disabled.
Expected Results
Since Instance Health Plugin (jira-healthcheck-plugin-2.1.10.jar) is a System Add-on, the bundled plugin should be the version that is compatible with JIRA 7.1.8.
Actual Results
The below exception is thrown in the atlassian-jira.log file:
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** ___ FAILED PLUGIN REPORT _____________________ 1 plugin failed to load during JIRA startup. Workaround
To manually upgrade the plugin:
- Go to JIRA Instance Health Plugin - Marketplace.
- Download the latest version; 2.1.12.
- Upload the downloaded OBR file to JIRA at the Manage add-ons page.
