Summary

When creating an issue for a project with long name, mouse over the project list do not display the full name of the project as it would do in previous version of JIRA.

Environment

(Optional - If Applicable)

• JIRA Version 6.4.13
• JIRA Version 7.0.10
• JIRA Version 7.1.7

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create few project with a very long name
2. Click create new issue
3. The project name is not fully displayed. There is a feature request ticket at JRA-36872 to make the dropdown screen wider
4. Mouse over to the project name to display the full name of the project.

Expected Results

When we mouse over the project, the full named is displayed as shown in

Actual Results

When we mousse over the project the full name is not displayed

Notes

• Currently for affected version the maximum number of character that can be displayed in choose project field when creating issue is 28 character.
• This feature works well in JIRA version prior to 6.4
