Low Description of Problem
The instructions for "Configuring a JNDI Location" are no longer correct and should be updated to include correct information.
The directions mention two JAR files mail-1.4.1.jar and activation-1.1.1.jar. The versions of these are different in JIRA 7.
- In addition, there is no "mail-1.4.1.jar" of any version. The correct file is javax.mail-x.y.z.jar where x.y.z is the version.
The directions do not include a third file that needs to be moved, javax.mail-api-x.y.z.jar.
Suggested Resolution
- Review current version and past versions of documentation and correct where necessary.
- It appears this section of the documentation may have been copied from an older version.
