      Problem Definition

      JIRA currently allows all type file upload as attachment and currently cannot restrict attachments to certain file types.

      Suggested Solution

      A feature to white list and blacklist attachment so that only certain type of attachment are allowed to be uploaded in JIRA issues

      Workaround

      Currently, users can use Attachment Checker for JIRA plugin to achieve the stated result (Server only).

        No new Server apps

      You can no longer buy new apps for your existing Server licenses, including conversions from free app trials to app purchases. App renewals will be prorated with an end date of February 15, 2024, PT to match your Server products' end of support date.

      This might cause some serious security implications (For example: some virus files or Malicious files can be uploaded to the site )
