Currently there is no way to pass data like team and theme allocated to a story, from Portfolio to JIRA Agile.

Suggested Solution

To have a configuration, example like Team and Theme to be passed to JIRA when creating and linking the issue.

Use case

There are various fields set in Portfolio - like Team and Theme for example.

We have added our own custom fields to JIRA for Team and Theme and we would like to set these values when the issue is created via Portfolio. We can already intercept the issue creation event in JIRA, but the data from Portfolio is not passed as part of the data received by JIRA.

Being able to expose Theme as a field in JIRA means we can then use our eazyBI plugin to do all sorts of useful analytics over our investment themes.

It also means that our business analysts don't need to manually keep 2 sets of data in sync.
