As a user, I have a hard time keeping track of the emails I get from JIRA, and staying on top of comments out Test Analyst make or even just figure out with others complete sub-tasks.

I would like something similar to what YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and every other type of social website provides in notifications.

As a user I would like to:
1) See a notification icon next to my user's avatar
2) When I click the icon I see a list of notifications and their associated JIRA
3) I would like to only see notifications for tasks and subtasks: that I reported, I am assigned to, or JIRAs that I am watching.
4) I would like to see notifications for: new comments that have been made, files that have been uploaded, reassignment of the JIRA, etc.

Having this small little list would be so helpful in staying in touch with others through JIRA rather than my email client.
