Adding any wiki markup to a line in a list (ordered or unordered) which has a sub-level will add an unwanted space before the sublevels.

That is a hard description of working through, but this is obvious with examples:

No markup, no problem

• level 1 bullet
  • level 2 bullet is fine
    • level 3 bullet is fine
• level 1 again, no problem

  markup adds unwanted space

• level 1 with wiki markup (e.g. a link to http://www.google.com)
  • now level 2 has space above it!
    • level three is fine as long as level two does not use wiki markup
• level 1 again

Also, there is an inconsistency between the way content is displayed when I "Preview" it and when I "Submit" the content.

This only seems to appear when there exists wiki markup on the line, and the next line is a sublevel of the list.
