Daily maintenance in Cloud causing persistent notification for re-indexing

Problem Definition

Currently, with the daily maintenance in Cloud, users are prompted with a notification banner on the top right in their instance to re-index due to changes in plugins. This notification keeps appearing repeatedly on any page even when it has been dismissed by users.

Suggested Solution

Either:

• Run indexing in the background after maintenance is completed; OR
• Bypass indexing for changes that are not critical for the plugins, thus, the notification shouldn't pop up at all; OR
• Allow the option for dismissing the notification for a certain period of time (E.g: 1 week)

Workaround

Dismissing the notification manually.
