When a user is trying to Select a field to add as column in the issue navigator page > List View and they have a lot of fields with the same name(or who share similar characters), JIRA would sort this in ascending order with the ones starting with A coming first before the closest fields that match the value searched.

This issue is most perplexing when they have lots of fields with the word searched as JIRA has a limit to how many words are shown.

Expected Result
JIRA should present the fields that are exact matches first before other results or allow users the option to increase the number of fields returned.

Actual Result
JIRA shows the fields that match the word searched in ascending order and has a limit so users would not be able to see other fields that come later.
