7.1 bundled plugin versions missing from marketplace with newer plugin versions not compatible with 7.1

      Hello, everyone.

      We have verified the newest plugin versions, and these are marked as compatible with Jira 7.1. See:

      • JIM 7.1.8 - compatible with Jira 6.2 - 7.2.15
      • HipChat integration - compatible with Jira 6.4 -7.12.3
      • iCalendar - compatible with Jira 7.0 - 7.12.3

      The plug-in compatibility is configured outside the Jira, via Marketplace - therefore it was possible to fix the issue even for the affected product versions.

    Description

      The marketplace.atlassian.com version history pages for some bundled plugins do not contain the version of the plugin that was bundled with 7.1. These pages show newer plugin versions as being incompatible with 7.1.

      UPM will not attempt to update these plugins due to the installed version not being listed in marketplace. In addition this can also cause confusion as the bundled version is missing and other versions show not compatible.

      Example 1:

      JIRA Importers Plugin - Version History

      • Bundled version = 7.1.2
      • Versions before and after 7.1.2 show as being compatible up to 7.0.10.
      Example 2:

      Hipchat for JIRA - Version History

      • Bundled version = 7.3.3
      • Versions before and after 7.3.3 show as being compatible up to 7.0.10.
        • The version history has now been updated to reflect that 7.4.1 is compatible with JIRA 7.1
      Example 3:

      JIRA iCalendar Plugin

      • Bundled Version = 1.4.5
      • Both 1.4.6 and 1.4.3 show compatible up to 6.4.12. Most recent version shows compatible up to 7.0.10
