We are currently evaluating JIRA and find it meets (or usually exceeds) most of our needs.

However, one thing we have in our current bug tracker is a field to specify a "sponsor" for each issue.

While I may report the problem, the sponsor is the person responsible for ensuring the bug gets fixed (either a project manager or business owner).

Any chance of adding this, or getting the ability to add our own data fields?
