Problem Definition

After entering text in Create issue screen and canceling the operation by hitting Cancel. A dialog box appears as below:

You have entered new data on this page. if you navigate away from this page without first saving your data, the changes will be lost.

Accepting this dialog box for couple of times will result in Create Issue screen malfunctioning.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to JIRA Dashboard/JIRA Home
2. Click on the issue creation button
3. Enter some text in the Summary field
4. Cancel the issue creation, a pop-up notification appears on the browser warning you'll loose changes.
5. Click on the cancel button on the pop-up notification.
6. Click on the issue creation button again
7. Enter some text in the Summary field
8. Cancel the issue creation again, same pop-up notification with a check-box appears on the browser warning you'll loose changes.
9. Mark the check-box and click on the OK button
10. Click on Create Issue again
11. Enter some text in the Summary field
12. Issue creation page will be unresponsive when we try to cancel the issue creation.

This issue happens when user Edits the issue in Issue detail.

Workaround

Restarting browsers helps to reset the above setting.
