Iøve tried to upgrade from 3.0.2 to 3.1 today. Unfortunately without luck.
My 3.0.2 installation is running without any problems. After building a 3.1 WAR and deploying it, the following error occurs:
2005-02-17 18:40:24 error database Database type is invalid. entityengine.xml is configured for 'mssql', but database is indicating 'jTDS Type 4 JDBC Driver for MS SQL Server and Sybase'. Please ensure entityengine.xml is correct
What could i be missing? The only two files that are modified in a Tomcat 5.5 installation is jira.xml and entityengine.xml. These files have been created according to your guidelines for the Tomcat 5.5 installation.
