Problem Definition

As of JIRA 7.0.0+, the "Accept remote API calls" option in Administration >> System >> General Configuration has been removed. As explained in JRA-44822 : Option to Accept remote API calls missing / gone / vanished, this is done because the SOAP API has been removed.

When the user attempts to use Administration Search (Keyboard Shortcut g+g, or full-stop '.'), they can still type in parts of the phrase: "remote API calls", and this results in a hit for General Configuration. This is misleading since this configuration is no longer there.

Suggested Solution

Revise the search criteria and prevent a hit for "remote API calls".

Workaround

No workaround as this does not cause functional issues.
