Summary

User unable apply italic wiki style render on multiple lines characters.

Environment

JIRA 6.4.3 -> JIRA 7.0.5

Steps to Reproduce

1. Type words in multiple line.
2. Highlight the words and click "Italic" option from toolbar.

Expected Results

All the highlighted words appear in Italic style

Actual Results

Words do not appear in italic form. Instead JIRA only shows the underline before and after the words.

Workaround

Highlight each of the words line by line and apply Italic.
