Workflow Transition Missing after 2 Users Move the same Issue at same Time

Summary

User unable to view Workflow transition in issue page if an issue is moved from an issue with different workflow to another issue with different workflow at same time.

Environment

JIRA 6.3.15

This is issue is not reproduce able in a instance of small data set. To reproduce this issue it's likely the instance must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Large data set.
2. The moving process by 2 users but me done in nearly identical time.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new Issue in specific project where issues have different workflow type.
2. Ask 2 users to move the Issue from 1 issue type to another.
3. Refresh the page to see the transition hidden.

Expected Results

Issue type is moved to the last issue type choosen and workflow transition is displayed to permitted users.

Actual Results

Issue type is moved but workflow transition is hidden.

Workaround

There is a existing feature request here :

• Implement issue locking
