JIRA 3 has a new custom field system, and we need some sort of tutorial document taking the user through the process of writing a custom field. Some possibilities for a worked example:

• A CF that exposes something in the change history (eg. first record - Bugzilla import id?)
• A CF containing the user who last commented
• A CF that shadows an arbitrary field, but only makes it visible to certain users
• A new CF type (eg. boolean checkbox field).
• A CF that exposes a value from an external database (eg. looking up customer details for the issue reporter, or mapping JIRA keys to work orders).

All screenshots on the "Adding Custom Fields" doc need to be updated also.
