As an administrator, when linking issues, I would like to configure the amount of results that are returned when using the "Find JIRA issues" option.

      Problem Definition

      When linking an issue, currently the user will only receive 10 results when using the "search for an issue" option. This limit=10 is send on the request when pressing the search button and seems to be intentional.

      Yet for some instances there are too many similar requests and the 10 issue limit leaves the end-user with a functionality that does not work as desired.

      Suggested Solution

      Let the administrator configure the amount of returned results.

      Workaround

      Use the issue navigator to look up the issue which it has to be linked to, or use a more refined search term.
