Problem Definition
When you access any dashboard in JIRA that is not in your list of favorite dashboards, you get the following prompt:
This dashboard is not available in your Dashboard menu. To add it to the Dashboard menu, you need to add it as a favorite on the Manage Dashboards page.
This prompt can be dismissed but it will keep re-occurring every time you access a page that is not a favorite, even if you simply refresh the page after dismissing the pop-up.
Suggested Solution
- Provide a way to disable this popup - either on a global level (which would apply to all users and all dashboards)
- or preferably as a personal setting (either made available under manage dashboards area or profile area); Or perhaps a "don't notify me again" option for each dashboard.
