Currently there is an unattended installation feature but it is very limited and still requires user interaction.

      • The response file merely automates the command line portion of the install. Therefore it isn't a true unattended installation as the UI portion is still created.. From an automation/deploy standpoint this isn't truly an unattended installation.
      • If you run the unattended install as root it creates duplicate jira users if the jira user already exist. The documentation Unattended mode does mention to run the uninstaller which does delete the user so following this path it doesn't happen. However it would be nice if the script checked if the user exist instead of creating a new one.
