Description
Summary
Some countries (e.g. Uruguay) have changed the daylight saving time definition.
We can update JAVA with the Timezone Updater tool provided by Oracle to correct these new definitions but JIRA doesn't take this changes into effect
Environment
- OS set to timezone GMT -3 Montevideo - Uruguay
- JAVA updated with Timezone Updater tool
- JIRA set to default timezone
Steps to Reproduce
- Create and issue in JIRA
Expected Results
JIRA displays created date correctly
Actual Results
JIRA displays created date as if user was in daylight saving time (+ 1 hour)
