Steps to reproduce:

Create a new ticket as an administrator in a project with existing components.

Inside the component field, type in, or fat-finger a component so that it would generate a new component. Remove the component to the ticket, and associate a legitimate component.

Submit the ticket for creation.

The modal popup notifying you of the creation of a ticket will notify you that you have created a new component which in fact did not happen. You can validate by navigating to the project administration tab for components, and the component would not have been created.

The screen should properly notify you only in a new component was created.
