Summary

After installing the Chinese JIRA Translation Pack, and setting the default language to Chinese, tooltips on dates show escape sequences instead of the expected Chinese characters when viewing an issue.

Environment

This was Observed from a Desktop running in English (Australian Locale) with the default language or JIRA set to Chinese

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Chinese Language Pack into JIRA
2. Set language to Chinese
3. Hover over a Date to show a tooltip when viewing an issue.

Expected Results

The tooltip should show the locale specific date, without the escaped character sequences.

Actual Results

As per the attached screenshot, the tooltip shows escaped sequences of the Chinese characters.
