Multiple consecutive hyphens in an attachment name are converted to an en dash

      I tried attaching a file named JIRA smart commit -- commit 741.png to a JIRA Issue and use it inline in the description.

      The problem is that it automatically converted the pair of hypens to an en dash in the file name, resulting in the following error message being displayed:

      Unable to render embedded object: File (JIRA smart commit – commit 741.png) not found.
