Ability to manage sequence of a subset of issue statuses for specific projects or boards

      Problem Definition

      The use of the Agile Simplified Workflow enables project administrators to create issue statuses. Statuses from other boards are not visible when they are doing this from the Board Administration UI. This means many different issue statuses are created.

      This makes it really difficult to manage the sort order or issue statuses. Currently the statuses are presented in one big list with only "1 up" and "1 down" links to reorder them.

      Suggested Solution

      Add a multi-select field listing all the projects. When an admin selects projects in the field the list of issue statuses is shortened to only those present in the issue status schemes of the projects.

      Add a multi-select field listing all the JIRA Agile boards. When an admin selects boards in the field the list of issue statuses is shortened to only those mapped to columns in those boards.
