Problem Definition
If an issue is part of an Epic and also has sub-tasks, then the sub-task does not contain the Epic Link field. This makes it very difficult to run reporting on all issues with an Epic.
Suggested Workaround
Use Script Runner (or any other plugin) to copy the field "Epic Link" to the some field on Sub-tasks. This would help to query the sub-tasks on the issue navigator.
